Robert Ackhurst was 12 years old..not 8 years old. It happened on a school trip and his disappearance affected his entire class

I was in Roberts class and can remember it well. If I remember correctly there was also Ernest who went missing with Robert and the search went in for weeks with no signs.

For sure it is good for Parks to take all these precautions ,however, one should note that The mystery of Nyanga mountains is real and may not be detected by any technological gadgets and expertise as all gadgets might not even work when it happens and they disappear with the owners carrying them.
So i think in addition to theses best would be to try and follow advice from local traditional leaders such as avoiding any disturbance to the peace and natural state of the mountains,e.g not littering, not making noise ,keeping silent when you see an unusual feature, object or being. Its stranger that fiction so we really have to go an extra mile in being careful when dealing with these mountains.
